Molenaar Eyecare Specialists Ltd.

Molenaar Eyecare Specialists Ltd. was founded in 1934 by Dr. James Molenaar. Dr. Wesley Molenaar (Dr. James' son) joined the practice in 1964, and in 1994 Dr. Brant Molenaar (Dr. Wes' son) became the third generation Molenaar to carry on the family tradition.

As a result, patients of Molenaar Eyecare Specialists Ltd. also span three and four generations in their own families and carry on their tradititon of returning to Molenaars because they know they can count on the same consistent quality of care and service.

Dr. Wes Molenaar received his undergraduate education at Hope College and Purdue University,

and graduated from Illinois College of Optometry.

He practices general optometry and holds a specialty in contact lenses and low vision.

Dr. Wes Molenaar is a member of the American Optometric Association, is a past president and member of the Chicago - South Side Optometric Association, and a charter member of the Contact Lens Section of the American Optometric Association.

In local community affairs, Dr. Wes Molenaar is a member of the Lansing Chamber of Commerce and a past president of the Lansing Lions Club.

Dr. Brant Molenaar received his undergraduate

education at Purdue University and graduated from Indiana University of Optometry in 1993.

Dr. Brant Molenaar is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association. Dr. Brant Molenaar's area of practice focuses on the pre and post operative care of Laser Vision Correction patients and the treatment and management of ocular disease including glaucoma. He also specializes in pediatric optometric care and vision therapy.

Dr Brant Molenaar keeps himself busy in his spare time by being a youth leader in his church.
